The AVRO Arrow was a very controversial aircraft in the Canadian Air Force. This is a nice sport scale reproduction of the
Arrow.
This short kit is suitable for intermediate to advanced builders and fliers. It has been designed to use a Speed 400
direct drive and will easily accept other brushless alternatives. It is of all wood constructions with laser cut balsa and
plywood parts. The kit is self jigging with interlocking parts so the model assembles quicly and accurately.
Thanks to the low drag design and a light wing loading, the model has a wide flight envelope with a high top speed and
low landing speed. The high wing design and light weight make for easy hand launches.
The model uses 3 channels for control (throttle, elevator, and ailerons) with a single servo driving each elevon. Because
of this the model requires the use of a radio with elevon mixing.
Because of the ease of assembly there are no plans, only the instruction booklet. It can be downloaded from our "Downloads"
page, or, for an additional fee you can have a printed copy.
