INTERMEDIATE LEVEL KIT
A design by Vintage1, an frequent visitor the the EZone. Vintage1 has designed planes before and is responsible for our
line of wood propeller kits. We are proud to offer up what will hopefully be his first airplanenkit in a long line. For
this one he wanted an old timer that would fly on modern electrics. Modifying an older design and adding a bit of his personal
touch he came up with this really "cute" little plane.
Old timers were designed for free flight and either diesel or glow power. They are typically very stable and can thermal
as well as a lot of gliders. Graceful lines are also a hallmark of this genre of airplane.
The construction is typical free flight with sticks and formers and a lot of stringers giving a nice profile. Control
is 3 channel, rudder, elevator and throttle.
The design power package is the MPJet geared sp400 on 3s1100 LiPo batteries. The airplane would also be a prime candidate
for the inexpensive bell outrunners.
