Doculam is a document laminating film that works fairly well for covering model airplanes. It has a frosted finish until
heated, then goes completely clear. It can also be used as windows on some planes.
Doculam is activated at fairly high temperatures and shrinks agressively. It should NOT be used on light structures without
taking care not to shrink the film too much.
Doculam is a lightweight covering. It starts almost as light as Litefilm, but, once painted, is about the same as Solarfilm.
Painting is fairly straightforward. I have had the best luck with house type latex acrylic paint (no primers!). It will
take other paints, but, none have been as durable as the latex.
We sell Doculam only in the 18" wide form. We apologize for the cost, but, this stuff is a bit 'difficult' to repackage.
