Another Peter Rake plane. 1/6th scale SPAD XIII designed for sp600R power, but, works with many larger brushless motors and
would probably be great with a Magnetic Mayhem as well.
The aircraft is larger and is NOT suitable for park flying. Will mix in well with the IC crowd at the local airfield
and performs well. Flies and lands much easier than most warbirds.
You can see Peter's simple design and build techniques in these views. Box and former style construction for a relatively
lightweight build.
The finished plane is a great semi-scale model of the SPAD XIII flown by LT Frank Luke, an American pilot known for shooting
down observation balloons. Graphics furnished by Callie's Graphics (see her web site on the LINKS page).
